§ 8.12.040. Defective system.

  • Should any defect occur in the water-flush system of any residence, place of business or other building or place which would cause such system in any way to fail to meet the requirements provided in this chapter, the defect shall be immediately corrected by the owner or agent of the premises on which the defect has occurred, or by the occupant thereof, and it shall be unlawful to continue to use the premises unless and until the defect is corrected; provided, however, the premises on which a defect occurs may be used during the time reasonably necessary to correct the defect.
