§ 10.24.080. Seventy miles per hour.

  • A.

    The prima facie speed limits indicated in this section for vehicles are determined and declared to be reasonable and safe; and such speed limits are fixed at the rate of speed indicated for vehicles traveling upon the named streets and highways, or parts thereof, described in subsection B.

    B.

    The maximum speed limit is seventy miles per hour on the following streets and highways or parts thereof:

    1.

    On Interstate 20, from city limit (TxDOT MP 6.450) to city limit (TxDOT MP 8.649).

    C.

    Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not more than five hundred dollars.
